The problem is not for any software like twitterdub itself but for the restrictions on the accounts imposed in the past few months. Depending on your Twitter acc age and activity you will have more or less restrictions on using non-API solutions like Twitterdub.
An option could be to get Twitter verified and use Twitterdub on such account (which all the inconvenience it may convey). You technically might be having almost unlimited processing, still insufficient for many tasks.
