    For a keyword that has 1000000 searches/month.
I just bought the domain. Is the keyword itself but with a shitty extension.
    Thank you.

p.s. I've searched for the other keyword sites and none is developed. So I have a chance?

Just make a content and wait for 2-3 month with backlinks around 5-10 perdays. After 3 month then you can rank it higher using Linkwheel. That was my own experience and it is works.. as for me.

My advice would be target the short tail keywords first, long tail come naturally from that. Target long tail too but go for short tail first and get some quality backlinks .edu .gov etc, can be done. As links start to grow then start moving up your game with whatever means, short XRumer blasts to specifically tagetted forums etc.

The fastest way to get onto page 1 is with web 2.0 properties (squidoo, hubpages etc). Google loves these sites and there is always a chance you'll be able to jump in straight on page 1. Ezine articles can also rank well, and you can use your content to direct traffic to your money site.

Depending on your extension, it will most probably be a lot more difficult to rank than normal.

This isn't saying that you can't rank with a bad extension (such as .info: check out the keyword Spain on G and you'll find the second listing [after Wikipedia] is an .info), but it will definitely take a lot more work and time that a .com would. I agree that working on the longtails and gaining credibility in your niche is the best way to go. Taking over a keyword with a million searched a month is going to take a *bit* of time and hard work.
