This might be a silly question, but just to be sure...

I have several TLD's for the same domain (com, net, org, info and country domain).
I'm currently using the country domain since I want to rank it locally.
Now for the question. Which is the best way to redirect the other tld's?
1.- Pointing all the domains to same IP and using .htaccess (in place)
    2.- Redirect at DNS level
Does anyone have any experience at this level? It's the first time I'm doing this and I would like to know your opinions, based on personal experience.

    HTAccess would be my choice.

Thanks for answering guys. I'm currently using .htaccess, but since these are new domains which don't have any pages to redirect, the purpose os the 301 is to reinforce domain authority, so it could be done both ways.
