Trying to find the best keyword research tool money can buy, the price is not a barrier.

I have already the usual market samurai etc... but i'm trying to drill down to the really big long tail keywords.

Anyone have a knowledge of a quality research tool?

Well, to give you the best three alternatives to Market Samurai:

    1) Traffic Travis (has a free version and a paid one just like Market Samurai)
    2) SEOattacks
    3) Micro Niche Finder (Wouldn't really recommend it - if the two above aren't available then it will suffice)

    Hope that helps! :)

Naaaa mate, there is tonnes of keywords out there what market samuari can't find, i find more keywords using scrapebox then i do with market samurai.

I'm looking to really drill down into the long phrases and drill down levels and very low competition keywords.

Sure it does, do have the orginal version though?

As it's been updated in the last 2 weeks about 15 times, to get things correctly working, every day nearly a new update is created when opening up market samurai.

market samurai is king for keyword research. Its not 100% perfect, but its the best. MNF is a distant 2nd.

Micro Niche Finder as an alternative to MS: I use it every other day and it's really straightforward.

You really should have titled your thread differently in my opinion.

MS is (imo) really the best tool for keyword research...however, I define keyword research as getting the data for the keywords I already have...not actually retrieving the keywords themselves.

MS however is not the best tool for gathering keywords.

After reading what I quoted above, I'd say that you're not really looking for a tool that researches keyword data better than MS, but rather looking for a tool that can gather more/better/different/longer keywords/phrases.

Unfortunately, I can't make a suggestion for you on what keyword generation software to use, as I use my own custom made tools for that.

You might have better luck starting a thread entitled something along the lines of:

"Best Tool for Gathering Long-Tail Keywords"

This thread titled as it is now, is really only going to generate responses from people either defending/opposing MS for keyword research (which again, is going to be interpreted by most as gathering data on keywords that you already have).

I assume you have not heard of the software called longtailpro, as that is the only other software not mentioned on this thread that might suit your needs.
