Which is better Tumblr, Twitter or Youtube?

I'm looking for an alternative to Facebook. I have a fanpage with 400K likes that has been lowering in reach all the time. The posts are mostly funny pictures, but I also post links to my website once in a while.

My top contenders are Twitter, Tumblr, and Youtube. But I'm open to other social networks if they are a better option.

But I think part of my strategy will be to initially drive traffic from Facebook to my Tumblr or Twitter account. After a while, I would then start using promotion techniques within Twitter or Tumblr to grow the following. The alternative it to promote Youtube Videos and gain subscribers.

Now I'm thinking, if I promote another network from Facebook, how many of it's users will already have an account on the other social network? I assume most facebook users have a twitter account, so it wouldn't be hard to get followers. But for tumblr, I think more facebook users might have to register for the blog site before they can follow my page. I'm hoping to get mostly U.S fans on Twitter or Tumblr. So like at least 65% of traffic being U.S.

What is the reach per post on Tumblr compared to Twitter? And is Youtube worth it?

Thanks for any help on deciding which one I should dedicate my time to. I think I'll handle one social network at a time, rather than multi-tasking.

People don't need an account to view your content, I have bad luck with Facebook (Adult content) but I do really well on twitter and tumblr. You can build a tumblr page in a few minutes, as long as your posting quality you won't hurt your users. Have you not tried the boost post paid feature on Facebook?

Yes, but they do need to be somewhat active users on twitter. The plan is to reduce or eliminate my dependency on Facebook for traffic. The reach is only going to keep declining on Facebook. So if I get a lot of genuine Twitter or Tumblr followers, they'll be able to see my content in their news feed.

Yes I've done boost posts before, but it gave me very little additional reach for a high price. Really like $5 for an additional 1.5K reach or whatever it was. I don't have any products to sell. I currently make my money from mylikes, but I could always make my own website with ads. But the cost acquisition per visitor would need to be like 1 cent or something.

You can't put up a website and earn via AdSense? Use Scrapy to get yourself some targeted active twitter followers and follow like 20 or so a day and unfollow the ones who dont follow back after a while.

I don't really have issues with monetization ideas. I could make a website that uses adsense, but adsense doesn't pay much and I got banned, I would most likely use Taboola or some ad networks. The problem I'm having is deciding which social network is worth spending most of my time on.

I guess twitter seems to be the simplest choice, as long as I can get a good ratio of account followers vs Retweets/Favorites per post. I average 100-300 likes per photo on my 400K facebook page.

Is there a way I can see what country twitter followers are from? I'm not really familiar with scrapy, but I'm sure there's a bunch of online tools or programs that could scrape highly targeted twitter users just like this Facebook scraper that I bought. :p
