    BHW,

Just want to say you guys are the smartest MFers ever! I am so glad I found this place.

    For example...

    Which would be better....

DonutsChicago.com or Mikesdonuts.com (10 yr old domain not in chicago)?

Which do you think is more benneficial in setting up buffer sites.

    Gracious!

Go for both! If you can get a 10 year old relevant domain, stop reading this and register....

Okay you're back.. GO GET THE OTHER ONE.....

Okay you're back.. Whew! Got that straight now! Use them both for buffer sites OR try and shift the 10 year old to your main site! I'm not really sure on the last point, I would have to see the real layout of what is happening. 10 Years in Internet time is like a wise old man speaking in whispers to the search engines.

Don't even reply to me, just go get them and do any combination.

the good side of having a 10 year domain is When you will blast with automation tools for backlinks if wont do the dance :) Plus a 10 years domain if it was had some content on it may be of a high PR .
I have a PR5 domain name that has nothing to do with keywrods it is like tv.com on the pizza niche ( just an exemple ) and it ranks number one on the pizza niche .
So I would suggest you go for aged one as the main site and don t foget about your on site SEO because it is important :)
And if you can get them both it is even better .

Thanks bro. I appreciate the advice. I have the availability to buy a domain that is 13 yrs old and it has a name directly associated mith my Niche like mikesdonuts.com But my name not mike. It is old but looking at the links it hasn't been used at all really...

    Still worth the coin?
