which is better BOONEX or SOCIAL ENGINE script

i am looking to start a community site and i would like to know from those of you who are using and have used either one of these scripts... please giv reason why...

in my own opinion, i like social engine, easy to customize. easy to manage, and the new 4.0 that they brought out. is great. but.. boonex is pretty good too, make your own plugins.. but if your that good, you can make your own plugins for social engine as well

sorry about that BIGBUDDY my comp sometimes gets stuck and does the double post deal..
but CYRUS i sent you an pm,
and SOCIAL ENGINE does not have a payment interface yet correct... so i can have paying members...
