Which is best?

For a new blog, Ii would say start with simple free backlinks like niche forums, Quora/Reddit, profile links, Web 2.0 blogs, and a few relevant guest posts they look natural and help build trust slowly instead of spamming thousands of low quality links.

Relevant backlinks from real websites are still better than mass free links
