I use Skype. I feel that its the best. You can do voice calls and video chat to other users of skype for free. But what other IM cant do that?

Skype is different, with skype you can actually call numbers and company's for a small amount of credit, but i have never bought any credit for it.

But its great for numbers that are toll free. I have called up Neverblue and PayPal before and the SexSearch.com number lol ( twas to do with affiliate business i swear )

Has saved me a lot on calls as im overseas.

Pidgin > SIMP (Secway Instant Messenger Privacy) totally encrypted and I can see who has me blocked, I can see people
signing in before they get online, I can see if they are on invisible and I can tell
when they are sending me a message before they press send.
And I can use it for yahoo, msn and AIM as well.

Trillian or pidgin, both allow usage of multiple accounts under one fancy GUI.

Meebo has everything you need. You can access all your accounts in a single log-in. Having more contacts = Easy to access = Being more professional = More clients.

    Try it.

    I use MSN and Skype.

MSN still has all my childhood friends whereas Skype has all my business contacts.

I use Pidgin myself for the following reasons:

    1) It's open source software - which I am a huge fan of
    2) Multiple IM clients under using 1 piece of software.
    3) There is also a version that is a portable application.

DIGSBY! It does absolutely everything. Not only can I log in and use all chat softs, including MySpace and Facebook, I gives me updates and all for my social nets like I was logged in. Also, Digsby has an affiliate program that pays $1 for each download. Seriously, with such an awesome program, it sells itself.

Other than that I use Skype (professionally)

I use all messengers, which are available. I just use trillian to keep them in one place.
