I'm currently creating a guide on how to make websites and am looking for a hosting company to recommend and receive a commission on.

The best one that I can find so far is Hostgator's but it pains me to recommend them as I've personally had very bad experiences with them and don't personally endorse their service.

So, is there anyone else I can promote instead who will pay me just as much?

Hostgator's commission is as follows:

1-5 per month
?????
$50 /signup

6-10 per month
?????
$75 /signup

11-20 per month
?????
$100 /signup

21+ per month
?????
$125 /signup

As fas as I know, there is no hosting company which pays out more than Hostgator. I have heard quite a lot of complaints about Hostgator; perhaps that is the reason why they pay so much ;)

I can recommend Arvixe as a hosting company, if I remember correctly, they have even bigger payouts. But I was never their affiliate.

EDIT: here you go..
1-6 in one month is $70 per sale
7-12 in one month becomes $90 per sale
13-19 in one month becomes $115 per sale
19+ in one month becomes $135 per sale

Yes even i have heard that hostgator doen't pay all your affiliate signups. they mark them as invalid. BTW Bluehost is paying $65 for each.
