    same here, i'm using thunderbird and gmail
    probably lot of people don't know how good thunderbird is, that may be reason they are not using it

    +600% increase of desktop opens by thunderbird. lol

    I did not know Gmail stopped blocking images by default. Either leave it or remove it because the switching is driving email marketers crazy.

    It makes sense that so many people are using mobile devices for email. There is no better time to read and delete crap emails then while you're on the go. I try not to send anything while on mobile unless I really need to because quality tends to slip.

    On another note I will probably be switching away from gmail soon given all of these scary accusations of purchased links being discovered through it.

    personally I'm always on iPhone ( gmail app) or outlook 2010.
