    Hey guys!

I just found an interesting keyword in market samurai and in the domain module it came up that .org EMD is available. Running a search on namecheap it turned out that all of the top 3 were taken (whats up with samurai??).
.info, .co.uk, .us and .biz are available...

Would you buy them and try to rank them in fairly easy competition or should I just move on and find a KW with better domain available?

It has been my experience that .co.uk ranks better than the others, however, ANY domain extension can rank with proper SEO. Even .biz.

its a sort of micro niche with 2900 searches and 4 word keyword (although it could be easily scaled to an authority site because of its niche)

Is it wiser to go for 5 word .com (keywordREVIEW/SHOP.com, BESTkeyword.com) or EMD.co.uk

    I'm torn and confused :D

all depends on the work you do..if it's done properly, any domain can rank! well, that's what I realized during the last 4 and a half years ;)

Whenever possible, I go with the EMD. However, just having an extra word on the end of the keyword .com will work too. Again, it's not really the extension that is going to get your site ranked. It's the SEO you complete on and off of your site that does that.

I agree with him. The extension is just a identity and search engines rank you on criteria of how you have done your home work i.e. on-page and off-page SEO ;)
