Hey actually Namecheap gives the free dns & whois privacy just for the first year.
And you have to renew for a price tag each year then onwards.

I`m using godaddy mostly, i guess i should take a look at namecheap aswell.
 
I've been using register.com for a long time never had a problem.. tons of coupons for 1.99 domains.. surprised it wasn't mentioned here.

what i disliked from godaddy is that they want you to have an agreement with paypal active. its like they can take money from you whenever they need and you agree for it.

Yes, once you approve they will automatically charge for random stuff too. I bought an auction and they kept on renewing the auction on me. Namesilo doesn't do any of that bs.
 
There are many domain registrars Company who offer Best and the cheapest price for domain registration, but I will suggest you for internetbs.net, namecheap.com.
 
For cost, I'd say godaddy is cheaper using a coupon. namecheap has a much nicer setup/management. I'm using onlinenic, moniker, internetbs, namecheap and godaddy.
 
Been using namecheap for at least 10 years but recently been buying some on internet.bs since it's free privacy every year. Namecheap domains I normally only keep for a year and let them drop so it depends on what your using them for. Never heard of Namesilo before but looks pretty decent and also has free privacy for free every year, definitely will be trying them out.

BTW if you do use namecheap always check http://www.retailmenot.com/view/namecheap.com, they always have $1 off. I think codes are listed on their site as well but I just always check here.

Namesilo and the discount of 1$ makes the best option.

Free whois guard, not like namecheap that is just first year, great interface, best price, subaccounts... Awsome.
 
Namecheap never fails me with their 24/7 support and their free privacy as well. There user interface is friendly and easy.. Godaddy would be my second choice
 
I prefer godaddy, their setup is very nice, and I have found a site that gives coupon codes(updated daily) that let me buy domains for $7 new(sometimes a lot cheaper) and $8 for renewal. Can't really beat that.
