i was thinking of buying a new phone. I have a HTC touch diamond right now.. n its "sucks" its windows based and it hangs all the time.. takes hell lotta time to respond... etc etc... so basically m sick of it...

i have like a budget to $500-600 and want to know which cell phone would work out best for me... m a simple blackhatter... just check online mails and reply to them a bit... and talk on the phone a bit..

    which one would you recommend..

thanks in advance for posting! :)

I hear that htc phone can share the internet connection with you're laptop, can you do that on you're phone?

I have the E71 and it's allright. Great phone in terms of quality, durability, OS itself, the internet browser sux though, if I were to get a phone right now... I'd go with a new blackberry or the iphone... depending on if you like to text a lot or not, iphone is not for people that text a lot or have big fingers.

well regarding your phone I would maybe try a different ROM and radio from
    Code:
    http://www.xda-developers.com/
forum. I have the Fuze or Raphael. The Energy ROM and their other cooked ROMs are generally tweaked to make the most of the phones so that could help with speed or battery life.

Seeing as htc makes the new Android based phones yours is actually pretty decent just needs new ROM and better tweaks. I mean what other phone besides winMo gives you a way to view word, excel, and ppt natively. Get a browser like skyfire and watch as your iphone friends kick themselves for not being able to watch flash vids on like justintv. There's no app for that. Too bad they blocked hulu though. Also regarding apps as you know win is king os when talking about free apps. Iphone feel free to pay for almost everything. With your phone the only thing you can't tweak or change is the 4GB disk space seeing as there is no SD slot, but if I were you I would stick it out and just make the changes I suggested and wait to see what win mob 7 phones come out and also for the goog's own Nexus One coming out in 2010. If you need a better answer go to

join their forum and ask the question.

Looks like this has been turned into a fun post. Lol

For me I have had the Iphone and a blackberry.

I like the iphone for the touch screen and all the different apps that you can get for it. But if you are trying to use it to run a business or if you are on the phone a lot the battery sucks on it.

For the blackberry they have come a long way in the features that it offers. This is a good steady phone that has a great battery life plus the easy of text and email.

I also have now switched to a pre paid phone plan that's like 50 bucks a month for unlimited talk, text, and data and no its not crickett

I switched because I got tired of paying the high bills when I can get the same service for half the cost.

If you want to know the company PM me.

    The Motorola Droid looks promising.
