None of them are magic man. It still depends on what you have going to them.
Links, posts, brains ==== traffic.
Personally I prefer wordpress installed on my own domain. That way I have full control.
im trying out all tools right now and compare them later, im kinda in a marathon will get back when i got the final statics!
So far, I have tried on blogspot and wordpress. Obviously Wordpress is a better choice.
yeah i think wordpress have many advantage.
I use both Blogger blogs and WP. It all depends on what you are going to use the blog for. I find that Blogger blogs are great for setting a small, niche-targeted blog farm to test a market(of course monetized with Adsense and affiliate offers). On that note, Blogger can and will delete blogs if they think they are spammy, but as long as you post good quality content, you're ok. But for the long term, I definitely choose WP hosted on my domain. You just can't beat the customization for SEO and such.
Gotta go with Wordpress... easy to install (Fantastico) and has tons of free plugins.
I haven't tried blogger blogs, I'm on my way these days thinking on campaing and full strategy, but I must say WP is very good blog system and as others said, one of the main advantages is because it's on your own domain and you can do whatever you wish with it... You have FULL control. It is good thing.
I love WordPress also - but the key is your niche topic.
WORDPRESS is BEST
Wordpress is probably the easiest for newbies to set up because of its simple layout and pro-end user interface. Find a template that is widget ready and you can just drag and drop anything that might be useful to your blog.
wordpress , but the best one is your content.
It depends on what you want long-term for your blog. If all you want is a weekly update on how the family is doing, then go with blogger. On the other hand, if you want to monetize, then go with WordPress.
One word of caution, though. WordPress.com (the free service akin to Blogger) doesn't allow you to put ads on their service. Blogger does ... but it's a pain in the you-know-what to get your posts.
I'd say if you are in baby-stages (e.g. less than two months or so), go to WordPress.com and forget about the adsense ads for the moment. I like their dashboard, which brings you in some hits from the other people on WP.com. Then, when you think you've got enough hits to generate $$, get a host, install WordPress (from WordPress.org) and customize it.
wordpress is the best, but none of them can make money for you automatically.
If you really know what to make you money then whatever cms will works. =)
wordpress, My favorite blog platform
Been using wordpress for awhile now, I don't wanna waste time on other things at the moment. Just creating wordpress blogs on my domains is doing fine for me.
as people have said its all about your niche topic and the right tools, personally I use wordpress on my blogs simply because it is darn easy to use and uber flexible with a ton of plugins that can make your life so much easier, like autoposting, the seo pack. Tons of stuff that will make your life 10x easier compared to other blogging platforms in my opinion.
So WP is the way to go for me.
I have been using Serendipity on some of my adult sites for like 3 years and love it. I used to use WP but I like Serendipity better. s9y.org if you are interested... not as many plugins as WP but it is an awesome script.
