Some still work briefly but they’re unstable, easy to detect and not worth the long term risk of getting wiped out.

Parasites are still providing massive levels of traffic. A couple of weeks ago it was parasites on Cloudflare's pages.dev, now it's parasites on archive.org via a sneaky uploading trick. As long as Google rewards big juicy sites, parasiting will be working very well!

i think blackhat backlink will still work. if the content is good google may have to ignore artificial links. think from google point of view. getting some artificial rankings by blackhatseo on high authority sites for example lets say someone make spam backlinks to facebook in very big quantity. It will make no difference on facebook domain. Similar way getting artificial backlinks on our site gives artificial signals to google. In some way google can treat them as backlinks or for a shorter time. the thing to note is google never know who created it, naturally the users, website owner or anyone else in jealously
