Which antivirus is the best in your opinion?

    Hey guys.
    The thread title says it all, I want to know which antivirus you think is the best.

    (Please dont say malwarebytes because its not an antivirus)

    I think Kaspersky is the best. just my opinion.

    I like MSE. (Microsoft Security Essentials). Lightweight, free and does the job - Legit copy of Windows needed of course.

    I second that. Been using Bitdefender for the last 3 years and never had any issues. Great AV program.

    There are no good anti-viruses. All it takes is private crypter and poof - 0% detection rate.

    yes I do agree but at least you can be protected when the virus is not fud anymore and the owner of the virus has not updated it for a while.

    This is true. Nevertheless, people just assume that an antivirus actually protects them well and they go ahead and download cracked apps etc. An antivirus is a good thing to have as long as you know its limitations so that you can avoid potentially harmful actions.

    When a product is marketed with the word "essentials" in its name, I 'd rather say even its producer doesn't thing it 's the best :eek:
