Word on the street is remote medication dispensing (or vending machines) is slowly replacing traditional pharmacies for convenience purposes. Canada is soon to pass a legislation to allow drug-dispensing machines to be placed all throughout the country. They believe it is more cost effective and ensures patient safety. Very Interesting... How many times have I put money in a vending machine for some gum and got a chocolate bar dispensed instead. At least a candy wrapper is quite easy to distinguish between, but pills I imagine would be much trickier. I hope they have some good mechanics.
