Where you guys get free working proxies from?

The best way is hunting your own proxies. Will take more time, but the proxies will last longer and will be faster. Try Proxyhunter v3.1b1.

if you can get a good working copy of advanced administrative tools (aatools) you will have a whole suite of proxy finding and checking tools to work with

i use proxy switcher pro to auto search proxy and auto connect it

has anyone had any success with proxy machine v2.1 advertised on this site and proxy switcher.

Also when you have got your proxy do you go to sites like these to check it is working http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and it a bad thing when it says:

Proxy Server Detected!
(proxy test results)

Proxy Server IP address: proxy you are trying to use
Proxy Server Details: proxy you are trying to use

Proxy Reports IP as: your real proxy

This is what i get when i use transparent proxies and i also go to http://checker.samair.ru/ to check the proxy is showing the country that i want.

I find when i use High Anonymous(Elite) or Planetlab/CoDeeN proxy they dont show up in http://whatismyipaddress.com/.

Yes, always check with a place like http://www.ip.cc, cmyip.com, etcetera. And if it says your real IP, of course you don't want to use that one.

I gave up on free proxies about a year ago then changed to a paid service and haven't looked back. Very cheap and reliable.
