Hey everyone, these past couple months have strained me. Non stop working and taking summer classes as well. It is now time for a vacation. So I need your help with some ideas.

If you can pick up and go somewhere on vacation, where would you go?

I would go to Mexico in the rain forest. They have a place you can go and stay at this all inclusive resort that sits on the bluffs that over looks this beautiful ocean. Then you can go into the rainforest and stay in a 5-star treehouse and go see the aztec structures. Sounds fun to me. Me and my baby sipping champain.

I just got back from Peru. Spent a week in the jungle and backpacked up to Machu Picchu. There is a ton to do and see and I would highly recommend it. Plus it is cheap down there.

Costa Rica is also a great place. There is a small town called Estarious which is great for surfing. Just watch out where you stay in Costa Rica. The first time I went down there, I was in Jaco and we were robbed 5 times within 2 weeks.

If you want to TRULY experience Alaska, rent a nice RV and go everywhere from Anchorage to Homer to Denali Nat'l Park to Fairbanks... I've done it... DO NOT take an Alaskan cruise, they take you to the biggest Tourist towns I have ever seen in my entire life- and I have visited quite a few places. I remember when I went to Skagway, an old mining town right on a bay, all the cruise ships were lined up and when the docked THOUSANDS of tourists came amongst the town and it looked like an utter diaster.. some of the most biggest ignormaus's I've ever come across... one even asked a store clerk if you could "actually still find gold laying on the beach" in town near by where there was gold on the beach in the 1800s.. ARE YOU SHITTING ME? You honestly think there's still gold washing up on the beach on a daily basis? It was shameful to watch. Doing a cruise is definitely not the real Alaska, only a shameful remake of the real thing. Do yourself a favor and see the real thing by vehicle, you can't even go to Mt McKinley or Denali Nat'l Park if you take a cruise.

So in closing, a cruise in the carribean could be a good choice from people I've talked to who've done it, but as far as Alaska goes, definitely visit by land, not by sea.

    Surprised only US people replied

I would say; Zante, Ibiza, Kos, Lloret De Mar og Magaluf...

    Upside:
Lots of horny young 18-25 yr old caucasians from EU partying it up on the strip from 8pm-6am
    Cheap brew
    Lots of partying
    Lots of sun

    Downside:
Brew is of low quality...I sometimes think sambucca is cheaper than water at those places
Lots of donut tourists, e.g. germans.
Too many beach-chairs on a single beach lined up like people were gonna get roasted and eaten for dinner.
Possibility of fights if you barged the wrong couple of heads.

If you're not into that..Try Hawaii. Beautiful sunset, hooooot US girls, but dirty expensive unless you wanna set up tent @ the beach lol.

Thailand for amazingly beautiful beaches and exotic lifestyle. And I'll love to visit Fiji too some day. Wonderful Islands and some of the cleanest waters around.
