The other day I was reading a thread regarding beginners using Blogger and Adsense. I can't seem to find the guide and was wondering if anyone could link me to a good guide on BHW or give a few good steps to starting it.

The guide I was looking at was dealing with setting up google alerts and all the things that should be set before applying for the Adsense account. It also discussed about how many visitors I should be getting before adding Adsense to my Blogs.

Anyways, if anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. I'm looking to start a journey and create quite a few blogs to reach $50 a day. Once I hit that goal, I'll move on to bigger goals. Just looking to get my feet wet

Assuming you're a complete beginner, the first thing you need to do is Keyword research.
    1) Think of a niche or two that interest you 2) Find your keywords.

You can get a 90 day trial of Market Samurai here on BHW, and I also use the Google Adwords Keyword tool. With these, try to find keywords within your chosen niche that have local search numbers of 3000 or higher (depending if you want micro blogs or a few "good" blogs). Make a list of 10 or so keywords depending on how many decent ones you can come up with. Now you wanna check their competition.

On firefox you can get free addons that help you check rankings and optimization done by your competitors. I use SearchStatus and SEO Quake. I like SEO Quake because when you type a term into Firefox, itll show you the ranking and info for every site, making it easy to look over the competition. Obviously you won't want to be competing against a bunch of high PR websites. Check their backlinks with the addons, etc. These will help you decide whether you think you'll be able to outrank many of the top listed sites on Google.

Hope that helps a little, like I said I really don't know how knowledgeable you are already. Once you have some good keywords, make your domains (preferably with your keywords), do some basic on page optimization, and write your content with keywords in mind without over-doing it. You'll need a decent amount of good quality content before Google will approve you for Adsense.
