So I get that dodge coins are very cheap right now and the chances of them getting more expensive are pretty good. Now they are only .0018$, so even if they go to a modest 1$ that is a massive gain if you buy like 100$ worth.

But the question, what do you do with them? If you sell them you'd probably have to sell at a discount. Or can I just buy USD with them?

    Thought?

Same here. I think I will buy about 50-100 USD worth.

Well first of all, $1/coin is not "modest" by any means. For example, just because bitcoin is close to $1k/coin doesn't mean $1/dogecoin is cheap - those 2 crypto-currencies are completely separate from each other. This is what tricks newbie investors into thinking that coins like dogecoin are "good to invest in," but a low price-per-coin in USD doesn't tell you jack about how likely the coin is to rise in value.

Other users have pointed out that the easiest way to buy/sell dogecoins is through bitcoin transactions. You can also find people to trade dogecoins directly in USD. You wouldn't necessarily have to sell at a discount if you're selling them for cash, because plenty of people want to buy them that way.
