I need to register a large number of domain names.
At least 10 per day, meaning 3500 domains in a year.

The problem is, where to register them? I need:
    - cheap domain names
    - the option of free domain privacy
    - a simple user interface for registering / renewing them

I was looking at www.resell.biz, but when you register a domain name with them, the WHOIS data have a signature of some sorts. That means that anyone could create a list of all my domains with a simple Google query. That is a big NO-NO.

I was thinking about GoDaddy but domain privacy is expensive + they're a bit of a scam company in my experience ($80 for redemption), things are free the 1st year and expensive the 2nd year, etc.
Namecheap looks nice, but $10 for a domain is $3 more than with www.resell.biz. With 3000 domains that is a $9000 difference.

    Any ideas?

You know I would talk directly to a sales person from one of these companies and try to strike a deal with them for better bulk pricing.

To the best of my knowledge, name cheap offers free privacy along with domain purchase.

Speak to the company to get a rep as they can give you a discount or bulk pricing. I have preferred accounts with Godaddy & Enom. Godaddy is nice as you get a private account manager for doing changes or helping with things.

Why don't you try out namecheap, make sure you get in contact with them first and explain to them exactlly what you need. I am sure they will have a special offer for you.

Back in 2009 when I needed to register around 500 domain names for clients this way worked out great and I was getting over 3 dollars discount per domain.

    Hope that helps,

    Have a great day
