    Hello,

    I have accounts with followers.

There is the bio url on instagram. But can i put urls elsewhere?

Is it safe to send DM with url?

    Thank you.

You can only insert url in your bio page. Anywhere else will not be clickable.

That really sucks on instagram, I have an e-commerce and I need to public link, but it's not clickable :(

Add it on your bio. People do click on it.

I have a mini-ecommerce site that does pretty well on IG.

well, if you got lots of followers on your instagram account you'd better post pics with links written on it going to your site most people visit links specially if they see photos that they like or appealing to them this one works for me, been posting funny photos and fun facts with link to my site

Put it in your bio and then in your picture's caption put "link in bio" or something along those lines.

You could also put the link in the location bar. Use your generic site url like "myshop.com" instead of the specific product link in this case.

Does anyone know why there is an option on the IG settings to put your website in? Where does it appear?

I'm wary of doing this cos loads of people say IG bans many people who put links in their bios :/

That is highly not recommended to DM links even if it allows it.
