Where to invest a few hundred dollars?

I had about 300 dollars I could spare to invest into IM and I wanted to see if I could pull in a quick 10-20% ROI. What are some good things to use this money on and what should I get into?

There are lots of things you could do, it depends if you know any web design or seo. Either way set up some niche blogs and use that money to outsource link building and content creation. Then throw adsense or bidvertiser on the blog and get some more long term money, and it will help you learn the INS and outs of internet marketing.
