    Hi All,

I am looking for telemarketing/Customer care/cold calling/lead generation job for a friend of mine with excellent US/UK accent and strong communication skills. Expected pay is $10 to $50 per hour (based on the job profile and if its incentive based or not). Incentive based jobs might pay less upfront but more if we get leads.

Can someone suggest the best places to look ?

    Cheers,
    Jo

craigslist, odesk, guru, freelancer I have hired from all. His thinking on hourly pay is a little high, but if he takes a gig with an hourly and commission he will probably come down in the middle of that range someplace.

You could try Elance and possibly SEOClerks too. Not too sure dude. Even BHW may have what you need if you post in the Hire a Freelancer section.

Hi. Thanks for the list. He did bid on some jobs on Freelancer, elance, PPH etc but with no luck so far. There are jobs with $5/hour + incentive on the market but he has excellent communication skills and anyone will benefit from that. We are aiming a bit higher so yes something in the middle would be perfect. Let's hope we find something soon.

I agree. Many IM'ers use telemarketers so maybe posting on BHW would help too. We just dont want to invest money in ads right now before he makes some money. Its just a start :)

Try the offline approach as well. Usually there are
telemarketer Help Wanted job offers in the Classified
    sections of your local newspapers.

Thanks Wiz. Yes, there are plenty of offline jobs but then those aren't work from home. One has to work night shifts in a stupid corporate office or a call center - it really sucks the life out of you!!!

You didn't mention in the OP that it had to be a telecommuting position.

Companies rarely pay $10 or more an hour for telemarketing without being able to see your worth ethic.
Work for a while in an office and if you're that good and disciplined you may be able to convince them to
let you work from home. Try the most popular alternative newspaper in your area for telemarketing jobs.

Yeah sorry forgot to mention - Looking for telecommuting options.
Well, working from office doesn't have the basic perks out here either - and rarely any incentives. Its just a tough economy I guess ?

Take your eyes offline and check the papers and do a Google search for such companies. Normally companies have a section
where you can click for employment at the bottom as a part of their footer links.
