Ok I'm kind of frustrated here. For the passed year I've been looking for a way to find popular products (preferably brand name) at prices below retail and I feel like I've been looking at all the wrong spots (Ali Express, alibaba, dhgate and other similar sites) most of these items are knockoffs and the real items are all overpriced.

I need better sources. Only problem is I have NO CLUE where to search.

I've recently been introduced to auction sites by another thread I read on BHW so I went on and started searching for local Auction sites and I started placing my bids. Prices on these items seem a bit too good to be true. One site I came across was a local Canadian site called Auctionmaxx.com. Another thing I've noticed are the bots which by the way are very annoying. That being said, what are the chances of me actually getting these products at these low prices? Are there any good auction sites in the USA?

One thing we all have to be honest about is the fact that POPULAR products is what's selling because these are things people are already looking for and already spending money on. So don't talk to me about an unknown NICHE that will take me years to make profit from. This thread is about buying low and selling high to make a profit with POPULAR products perferably brand name.

My overall plan is to find these products and sell them on sites like
Kijiji.com (our canadian of CL) or even CL itself. I'd sell them on eBay and amazon but I hate dealing with paypal and online payment processors. Until eBay and Amazon start accepting bitcoin I shall be against them.

Does anybody have any suggestions and can point me in the right direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
