You can get like 1$ off with a coupon at Namecheap, just Google for Namecheap Coupon and you'll find it!

name.com is pretty good, and you can usually always get a buck off with one of the coupons. Free URL forwarding too.

agreed . godaddy are the worse domian sellers / hosting ever. they are slow on replies and constantly email u will notices on re-newing ur domain even if u swithch the re-newal off. then they bombard u with offers u dont want.

i would never ever use godaddy again.

better to pay a little more just for the service rather then the domain.

Godaddy is only good for their auction (getting aged domain/pr domain) nothing more.

I use godaddy and I pretty much just ignore all the spam emails. It's a little price to pay for a cheap domain.

The OP has already stated that this company have increased their price and therefore requires an alternative.

Echoing what has already been stated, namecheap.com with discount code.

You will pay much more in lost equity when they take control of your
domain and won't give it back to you. Read their TOS and you will
understand why you should NEVER buy anything GoDaddy.

you should be able to get cheap domains at temter. <you know what to put here>

they apparently have a huge inventory of domains and are unloading at no reserve prices, I see a few listed now..good ones too.
