Where i can advertise bookmakers? Adsense not allows, facebook is very expensive any ideas? I often see sportsbook ads on porn sites, it's weird for me, how gambling ads convert on porn sites, do you have any experience? I saw sporstbook ads on adfly but again this is not targeted traffic.

Because gamblers like to wank their money away. You always see gambling ads on porn sites, because wankers like to gamble, otherwise you would not see them there. POF is good for certain forms of gambling.

For traffic and betting,I suggest Yahoo Answers or Sport betting forums.
    These will help you.

There are some social networks specially for sports, try to promote in those, it's really effective there, one of my friend is actually doing that and he has decent traffic..:)

It's going to be expensive everywhere because the traffic is valuable.
Sticking a banner on a pornsite doesn't convert, how often have you gone to stream some porn and decided you'd rather gamble instead? people think it will convert purely because the audience is both male and 18+. Also no legit bookmaker wants to be associated with porn so you'll get your account banned before you get paid
I've had small success on bing, traffic is obviously a lot less but so is cpc.

Also adwords DO allow gambling if you are based in legal jurisdiction i.e. UK. But obviously it can be very expensive.

I heavily promoted a major UK Bookmaker pushing games traffic to them. Although my traffic did not compare to to the major sports book pushers, I was making a lot more than them.

I can compare my gaming traffic to crossover traffic for sports book, and still the income is nothing like. In fact I had 100k pounds in crossover for Victor Chandler, and it barely broke even three years on a run.

I would get into the sports arbitrage niche .. Betfair pay 25% off all comissions. You only need a couple of referrals who trade on betfair, or do back/lay betting, and you will make some nice change.

Actually, I make a side living betting on sports, I have a personal strategy I use that has been working for me the past 3-4 years. I've had losing days & losing weeks but I've "never" had a losing month. I make between $2,000-$3,000 per month profit (That's what it averages out to be).

And let me guess, you are telling me because you want fools to PM you? Because I don't see the relevance of your comment to mine. I guess you just wanted to lay your bait down.

Me too. My main source of income is from sports arbitrage. It's not much, but it's enough for me to live on, and invest in my sites. The sports betting market is a great way to make money, but it's not for everyone, like any other type of trading.

Not at all, there's always a way to scrutinize and twist a comment to find a way to make it look like the poster had a bad intention, I was simply stating this as it had some relevance to the op's post and your comment of betters losing their money. That's all.

If you're betting on sport's you have to stay modest, if you have an "impulse" personality or let your feelings/emotions get the best of you, in the end, the casino (or bet taker) in the end will win it all because if/when you lose a wager, you'll begin to make irrational bets that you normally wouldn't make in a sensible state of mind.

Going off stats from a big UK bookie, my biggest loss from January 1st till now is £800 and he has deposited £22,000 over the period. I would say not much of an investment.

Looking at what I see, sports betting tends to level out even, not too much up, not too much down.

I've had a month where some guy won £80k, unfortunately the bookie has negative carryover so it's taken me almost a year for them to lose it back.
Was a big hit for me as that account was making me a nice amount each month.
Eventually players will make you a profit, it won't just even out. After all if sportsbook players were all break even then the bookies wouldn't make any money.

I just added a huge sports betting affiliate link banner on my financial/investing blog. I used to advertise banners for brokers and investment advisers but I'm finding no one wants to pay for that anymore. Besides, my greatest number of visitors are 20+ males interested in penny stocks and forex. Why not sports gambling? I'm pretty confident
