I have been doing no Black Hat SEO , just building links with my Citations, I have been on Page 1 for about a month, and on 10/3/13 poof gone off the face of the earth! I would understand if I had done some huge blast of scrapebox, xrumer or something, but to simply do nothing then vanish just blows my mind. The site is www.oemautoglass.com was ranking page 1 web master tools still shows it ranking 8th for Greensboro auto glass, how the heck can I not find it? Was there a update on google I missed? I do not see any un natural links in my webmaster tools, nor do I have any manual actions... You would think if something was that bad, then it would show up as a message? Any thoughts are appreciated.

I don't really know where you've been since 3rd - 4th, but yeh, there was a pretty big update.

Recently, Penguin 2.1 hit and so did Hummingbird, I believe. A lot of people got hit by it. So, you need to do a backlink check and remove anything suspicious, low PR, High OBL. Update your content too. Just some suggestions.

Also, here is a post by HowardHughes about a tool that helps with being penalized. http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/583747-been-penalized-tool-may-help.html

No its not that they are out ranking me I am GONE like I went like 50 pages deep not there. I understand what everyone is saying, but yes it was like Oct 4th, 2013 am that I realized I was gone :). Another site that I have that has tons of junk links to it that I do not even use is still on page 4. Oh well I will just keep back linking. I guess. But it just seems odd that I vanished without some sort of red flag from Google.

    Thanks.

Looking at your site im sure you would shoot back up if you add some more pages, a blog and add an image to be optimized on each page. Your using Yoast so follow what it advises and you will get back there with some new content. Good luck

Yes, there was an update but if you are certain there isn't a negative SEO on your site and you have been abiding by the rules of the big G then i implore you do nothing.

    You will bounce back.

Meanwhile, if you can build a complete white hat backlink it will do some good over the long run.

Update - not that anyone cares :) I am back ranking now for weird things like "auto glass" and other broad keywords, some on page 1, but yet the keyword I am targeting .... nothing and still I see no manual actions, no weird links none of that nonsense in Web Master tools. So I am confused on which way to go now, I guess I will continue to build links, since I am showing up for some searches (all the sudden) hopefully there is hope, any advise is appreciated.
