The google keyword tool used to have categories on the left, where you can view the keywords by simply clicking on them. Where did that go and is there a way to still access them?

lol. What he meant is it might be time for you to try out other keyword research tools rather than just relying only on what google provides.

A lot of the better tools aren't free, but if you're not ready to invest money for one right now, many of them offer trial periods. You can search for keyword research tools and then try out any that give a free evaluation period.

    LOL!!! No one misunderstood you.

Check out the keyword tool now.
    Google Adwords: Keyword Tool

It looks like they were just doing an upgrade to the tool. Now the categories are in a dropdown list below the keyword and website input boxes.

well that's what i was asking, thank you :)

it's a bit frustrating when you ask something about apples and someone tells you, go buy oranges :)
