Where Should I Look To Find Trustworthy Employees?

Hey all,
I'm in a situation similar to probably many of you, I have a project where I'm working with large quantities of sensitive info (credentials, limited client info, etc.) used for something similar to social media management, and my project has been starting to take off. My problem is that nearly all of my clients are in timezones across the world, and my service needs to be done while my clients are online, beyond that, my clients are bringing in some of their partners and the workload is just getting to be too much. I want to outsource the work, I've tried working with a few international friends, but they're all starting school and are now unwilling to work until the evening (which is the morning my time).

Are VA's useful for this kind of work? I'd prefer to limit the amount of people that have access to my programs/server/databases, and my process has a bit of a learning curve so I've been somewhat hesitant about reaching out to a firm.
Should I be looking on a freelancer site for employees?

I'd love to hear any of your thoughts/advice!

Respectfully,
Uzii

Still didn't understand the nature of work.
It involves Reddit boosting for long term clients. It's kind of like social media management, but more of the work is on the client's teams rather than my own

Ask someone for their private information as well.

If the payment is worth it, you're easy-going enough to deal with, someone might provide their ID or passport as a leverage for you guys to work together. Sign an NDA, maybe?

Set up a system where the VAs will not able to access much of the sensitive data but still will be able to do their job.

most folks just want a job. Key question is if they've ever attempted to start their own business. Those are the ones who will R&D (rob and duplicate) your idea. Otherwise, put them thru a probationary period of escalating trust challenges. You'll have a sense real quick.

No one is gonna handover passport for a freelance work. The ones who does (read desperate) will lack any sort of quality.

OP - Hiring local and having meeting the person is the best way to go if that is possible.

Also, building trust. Hire a bunch of people and test out if they are reliable + long-term before giving them any critical information.

You really can't trust someone other side of the world with any critical information.

The best people are everywhere. Look around your environments reach people in other states. Work with them, teach them, and instruct them on what to do. Handle the business as a business don't be fragile or think it's just starting up.

I don't know.
To me, you can trust someone online if you make 100% sure you know them.
Signing an NDA and verifying the identity of the other party is something rather advised upon.

take a office and hire your local guy.

problem solved.

Yes, NDA is a pretty common thing. Also, verifying freelancers with video calls is adviced too. But I don't think many would prefer handing over passport details to some client. I may be wrong. :)

In terms of finding trustworthy employees, you can never be sure if he is the one and pre-hire questions barely help the matter.

The person is either honest or not by nature and that can only be tested in tough situations.

It is what it is, testing and trying is the only way to go about it imo.

Interested for VA work . If you still have vacancies, then plz try for me.
