I currently have godaddy and 1and1 for hosting and I am having all kinds of trouble with php sites that need a htaccess file. Does any one have any suggestions where I can move my 58 domains to?

    Thanks...

What kind of trouble are you having? I host with 1and1 and have never had a problem. Maybe I can help.

This offer is still working. It says expired but I signed up last night and my account was completely approved this morning.

    Code:
    http://netfirms.com/max
It's $10 for a year of hosting and you get two free domains. Just the value of the domains alone makes it worth it. I also took advantage of this offer before and they let me sign up again. This is the second time I've signed up with this offer so you might be able to sign up multiple times.

If you want to transfer all of your domains I suggest ResellerClub or Moniker.

I am loading the newest 2.0 version of the wpauction plugin and I continue to get the following error:

    /<path to plugins>/wpauction line 99

    Here is the htaccess file:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /

    RewriteRule sitemap.html sitemap.php
    RewriteRule sitemap-([0-9]*).html sitemap.php?page_number=$1
    RewriteRule ^(.*).html$ results.php?page_keyword=$1
    RewriteRule ^images/e/(.*)$ http://thumbs.ebaystatic.com/pict/$1 [R,L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]

I also had issues with the bans htaccess file as well

Am I missing something in the file?

My choice for hosting is a reseller account at HostGator.

HostGator is very reliable and affordable all around. I have never read a bad review about them and their support is excellent. I used to host with them but cancelled not for problems with them, but I am going back to them becuase my current webhost totally sucks.

Whatever host you decide to go with, make sure you get a reseller account that you can host unlimited sites/accounts.

Dont spend more than $10-15 and make sure its with a reputable company.

Is it necessary to get a reseller account when you're just beginning? or can you just get a basic shared account and then upgrade later?
