I am using hostgator baby package, where is a good place to register a new domain? I would use hostgator to add a new domain, but they are 15 bucks for a .com and GoDaddy is like 9.99

    Where do you guys suggest?

I've heard bad things about GoDaddy. They were stealing domains or something like that. Anyone remember that? I've seen topics here about it.

Where you register your domains is not as important as where [with whom] you host them. All major registrars are good, and Godaddy is the biggest one among them.
In theory you can have a problem with any one of them and at the same time - you can use them for years without having any.
I personally use GoDaddy and Namecheap.

I have been using Namecheap.com for about 6yrs. They are very reliable and one of the cheapest. They have a lot to offer and have good reviews. I highly recommend them.

PS: I also use Hostgator to host my domains.

I'm using namecheap too. the problem with godaddy is that there is an issue that if your domain goes popular they will steal it.
