    While I am now building diverse back links, with unique texted, with diverse anchor texted I still have that deep fear of getting the boot from google.... In your opinion and experience ( if content is unique, anchor texts are varied, and backlinks diverse ), what is TOO much back linking??? What's too little?

    For local keyword? ==> " DJ's in 'x' "
    For a low competitive keyword?
    For a Med. competitive Keyword?
    For a High Competitive keyword?

    Thoughts?

    good question . .. i love considering variables that make your campaign look legit and natural. Although I'm not on expert level with seo yet, just makes sense to me to consider things like this.

    I think you got to follow your instinct on this one. That's why it's important that you are able to check your work from a different perspective. From another perspective. Think like another person and the answer will pop up.

    There's no exact "number" that triggers a penalty. What triggers penalties is when you don't even try and hide the fact that you are linkbuilding.

    What I mean is that you make it blatantly obvious to the search engines that artificial links are being created. Because maybe you create backlinks to only one page, maybe you create backlinks with only one anchor text. Heck maybe your links are just tooooo goood.

    You know what I mean mate? If you blend in things, backlink a ton of pages with a lot of anchor text variety (and unoptimized), blend the quality of links and the type of links, you won't see as much negative results and penalties.

    Just be consistent, if you start building 100 links a day, make sure that you continue this method and slow increase. If you build 100 links a day for 3 days then stop for a week, then continue a week later at 150 links a day this will look a bit odd.

    If you are going to build more links on a certain day, be certain to add new content to the site the same day as this, hopefully in Google's eyes, may be the reason for the spike in links. Just try to replicate natural link building as much as possible.

    Have to go with your instinct, If you build 100 Extreme High quality traffic on day one of your website launch its not gonna hurt you, If you content is powerfull ,it will work like a Bait attracting many backlinks, that doesnt hurt, but if run a xrumer or senuke campaign building 100's links in a day, that is a b****. So since the inception of SEO its always been the Content and still it is, Content will remain the dominating factor in SEO. Hail Good Content.

    Great advice everyone! Seriously, thank you.. Now here is the 100 million dollar question... Where the heck does everyone get "high quality" links from? I use a lot of Magic Submitter, which is great for diversity ( and is great in a lot of other ways ). However, I just don't know where the heck everyone gets these amazing high quality links from?

    Each niche is different. To be safe, analyze your competitors backlinks to see how many links they have and where they originate from. Take the total number of the top site's average backlinks, combine them and divide the number of sites you analyzed by 6, 12 or how many months you want it to take to rank. Develop a strategy to build links daily, using similar platforms as the competitors, so that you have a steady plan of action. Good luck
