Hey everyone, the title says it all, where do you guys get your public domain music? I've found a couple places but they either charge money or the songs suck!

You can download songs from sites about pirates in the 18th century.

Big G is changing day by day in hurting webmasters, but googling will give you a lot of options. That's what I do.

I use Jamendo, it's all royalty free and most of it you don't need an account for. Only downside is that you have to search for the right song because some of them are really bad

I recently started using the "Jewel Beat" website.

They give you a hassle free license with the download and songs are 99 cents. Pretty much free and have a huge library. If you're going to make money with the music in the background you definitely want that piece of mind.

I use ccmixter, it's all licensed under creative commons and there's a section for music that you're able to use commercially but like jamendo, you do have to search for the right song because some of them are just awful lol.

It had better be for free.

As a moderator, I have a suspicious nature. Possibly your
offer is sincere, but there are so many people who try to
bypass the need to apply for and pay for a listing in our
    BST section. Just checking . . .

Yes it would be completely free.

However when it comes to starting a listing in the BST section that's something I will be doing at some point this year. Just would like to get a rep here first.

I had a friend just start using people to create songs on Fiverr. He's using it to create/monetize a private course too so he made sure they're royalty free + quality.
