I've been buying domains from godaddy but get raped when I want to privacy them but my friend keeps telling me to buy domains through namecheap!

BHW! Where do you buy your domains and why?

Netfirms.com

Here is why:
$5.95/domain when you use 104DOMSPECIAL coupon code
FREE PRIVACY

Cons:
domain management system not as sophisticated as Godaddy

Godaddy because thats where i started and im very comfortable with them.

I love danika patrick also lol

lol me too haha.. even though they are expensive

Don't use fake information? They don't like that.

I use GoDaddy, if you want to get free privacy order 5 more domains at a time and just include one .info domain and you'll get privacy for free.

I have hundreds of domains with GoDaddy..

Once you get used to their checkout process it's easy and their panel is very easy to use as well.

I like name.com, 8.95 for .com's free privacy with no minimum purchase. Admin panel is intuitive and the Bulk Domain Editor helps to make changes fast. DNS changes are almost instantly.

I like using LuckyRegister.com

They have good support, DNS refresh really fast and have a decent price. Nothing bad has gone wrong while I have been with them. So yep thats me :)

lovingdomains.com

- $8 for com/net/org/bis .....

- many payment options

- free privacy protection

- accept fake infos and nearly all content

I have 80 or so domain names at namecheap fast easy and free whoisguard on every order. They also have a monthly code for 8.81 .coms

Code : NOMORESCHOOL

There .infos are 2.98 btw

:becky:

Same here, name.com rules :D

I used to buy my domains from godaddy, but for some of my domains, their redirect just wast working, it just never went into affect.. There interface is really annoying also.. So I tried namecheap and I liked them, especially sense you can set up a redirect right when you are checking out and it actually works unlike godaddy...

name.com - pretty intuitive panel as some have mentioned. Free privacy - fast propagation - Support "if needed" is fast as well..

Next to that "for me" would be dynadot. Have used them for years..

Namecheap. I used GoDaddy before, but heard some horror stories including one from the guy that held one popular site. Namecheap just works.

Namecheap. I never have problems with them.

When I used Godaddy, and did a domain name search, I had to purchase the domains I wanted right then, or they would be unavailable when I went back. This also happened to friends of mine. That doesn't happen at Namecheap.

I buy domains from NameCheap. They offer free privacy...You alter DNS in a sec, and you can get SSL certificates for about 15$ a year. You can also easilly configure your domain for "parking" with adsense, that takes some tweeking to setup (you cannot use .info for "parking" adsense configure though)....

I have lot's of domains with godaddy, but those I don't require privacy on whois. They are also good, but I prefer NameCheap.

G'g'g'g'g'go Daddy. I'm mostly just used to it already. They always have a coupon code to use and I always try to buy in bulk to get the free privacy. Yeap.

I use moniker for a cojuple of reasons:

1 - Its very easy to push a domain once it is sold
2 - I use their API to try and snag expiring names (Enom's API sucks)

I use namecheap.
It has cool control panel and no issues with them till now.

But namecheap dont have renewal coupons, they suck at that.
