Where do you buy your domain names?

sorry to post again but forgot to add something... another nice thing about dynadot is the grace period and they also take paypal payments.

Most of you probably have never thought of doing it but places like Dreamhost have promo codes with $97 off, this gives nice big hosting, for like $22 a year, and comes with unlimited hosting and about 1-2TB of traffic a month.
You also which is the good part get a free domain. So thats like $9.99 value so for like $10 you get a years good hosting :P buy a new one each time you buy a domain, especially ones your gonna throw away.
Good for mass generating cloaking pages. As you dont really care about space cause you get like 200gig.
And another bonus is, cheap.

Use Name.com for $5.99 .coms and .nets with Free WhoisGuard.

I was just going to post that. I've bought my last 5 domains from there. Not only are they easy to use, customer service is great too.

Thank you HaRRo
Do you need a new credit card for each time or
is it ok to use a code for each new account?

I've got a nasty habit of sticking with GoDaddy for my domains, but Namecheap is the better option.

I love Namecheap because of the services that you get along with the domain name. Easy interface too. I've had several problems and they solved them for me right away. Good customer support.

I ordered at DomainDirect.com

And sometimes at http://www.live.com (can not change DNS) and not good for Earning Money (but very fast server)

Hi Harro,

Where do you find the $97 discount for dreamhost?
I don't see it on their website.

Thanks in advance,

imer

I'found these 2 sites where you have tons of info
hxxp://www.namepros.com/registerindex.php
hxxp://www.dnforum.com/

Anyone know if there is any inconvenient
buying .info or will you stay with .com for blackhat sites
because the first year for 100 sites it's a big difference.

Thank you

I buy all my domains on http://www.bulksdomains.com I use a promo code for a 15% discount always when i buy over $100 on domains and web hosting, that saves me $15 on each order + free domain name ! , the promo code i use and still works is : 100CN15 15% discount off any order $100 or more !

For .com domain names it cost me: $6.95

I have been using it now for over 3 years .

Hi everyone here, I didn't care about the fees instead I care the reputation of registrar of domain company. I check from other forum, ipower seem like has a lot of problem and they are also providing hosting services.

Normally registrar will provide like initial incentive for cheaper price 1st year, I don't think that you would sell it off after a year if this is valuable domain, thus the price would not huge differences in long term.

In the long run, my opinion is stick in one reliable and good reputation, and only provide in domain service.

How do you think that?

Hey all,

I use godaddy for my domain names just out of convenience as I buy quite a few from auction with them.

I also have an account with fxdomains.com that I just signed up for. They are a reseller with Godaddy, but 1.99 .info names with free privacy if you order more than 5 domains at any time.

What does everyone think of becoming a reseller themselves and buying your own domain names at wholesale prices? Good or bad idea? I have been tossing the idea around lately.
