Someone was saying they could but refused to tell me where.

I only know about internetbs and pay 10 dollars a pop.

Is 99 cents for limited names ie you cant choose niche type or whatever? I want to buy a couple but they have to be niche specific so they look relevant for my campaigns when ppl click.

Im not fussed what they are particularly but have to be generally related to my niche.

    please advize good ppl.

I'm sure that you will never find any domain provider that offer 1$/year domain renewal.
However you can always transfer your domain to other domain registrar.

1and1 are the best to be honest less than $0.99 .... they are based in the UK. Plus they offer free ID protection. Can't go wrong :D

Lol, i hate 1and1. They over-charged me last time when I bought their 99 cent domain and some people here on bhw had similar experiences as well.

I've had bad dealings with 1and1, I usually just use Hostgator

I'd say go with something that is tried and tested like Godaddy. $1 for the first year is just another marketing gimmick.

I've used a $1 coupon code for GoDaddy a bunch of times or a $2 domain + whois protection

That's true, but if a person can't afford to renew his domain name for $10 or even $15 after 1 year I don't really think that is the major problem here :p

Use Godaddy and the honey application, which gives you the latest discount codes.

If you need more than one, you need to create additional accounts using different IPs and VCCs.

Why is no one recommending Namecheap?
Apart from the fact that they NEVER do have great coupon codes, they're among the best domain name providers.

BUT their coupon codes is purely wacko. I'll recommend godaddy for 0.99 domain name
