    Hello,

do you know a place where I could find expired domains with traffic? Most of the expired domains providers have a lot of indicators, but not traffic.

And, another (newbie?) question: if an expired domain has a lot of backlinks (hundreds or thousands), could it mean it might have traffic?

I know it could be pure spam, or worthless backlinks, but, in general, do backlinks mean traffic?

    Thanks

GoDaddy and Flippa are good places to find every type of domain easily.
You must have to try the MarketPlace of BHW to get aged domains.
There are many people providing their services and products.

Most expired domains are going to have very little, if any, traffic. Since they're expired, there are not many people regularly going to the site. It's typically up to you to restore the site, or create a new one, in order for traffic to start being generated again. This of course only will happen if you regularly update it for content as well. A domain with a lot of backlinks means could have had a lot of traffic at one point or none at all. Generally speaking good, quality backlinks means it did have some traffic at one point in time.

If you are still looking for backlinks, feel free to PM and I can help you find some.

Yeah this is kinda true. When checking the potential traffic of a domain you can use something like SEMRush as they have a traffic indicator stat, I am not sure how accurate it is but there isn't much indication other than that.

Most traffic stats are easily faked with bots so do take sites like Alexa with a pinch of salt.

I would say the best place to buy them outright would be somewhere like Flippa but they can be expensive.

Depends on the purpose. If the particular domain got some keywords density in it, it will absorb lot of traffic. Apparently, the backlinks (no matter it has some spamy links) from the domain itself is a gold mine especially if there is any backlink from authority sites. It will boost your SERP instantly. I have done it myself.

You can never tell if a domain has traffic or not. Even if it has super backlinks.
