where are these people getting my email and domain name from?

    A few days ago, I registered a pretty nice domain name with Godaddy. I used my personal email for registration, now I'm getting emails about web design, SEO, even a florist offering to help. I haven't posted my domain name anywhere and I haven't even touched it yet.

    They get your address from your whois information. I guess they are using scrapebox tool for it.

    Probably they get the new registered domains on sites like this one:

    www dailychanges com/domaincontrol.com/

    and the email address from the WHOIS results.

    you need to get "whois guard" to stop these emails.
    namecheap offers it for a few dollars and it is worth it!

    Since you didn't provide enough details about your extension .com or whatever, it may be because you registered a domain, where you can't have whois guard on and then you are in deep shit, then your email is out to public on some websites, i have some registered like that, and I get a lot emails, that offer seo services, domains that are similar to the domain and etc
