I noticed that nearly all of the facebook fan resellers on eBay.com and ebay.co.uk disappeard.

Does somebody know more about this? Did Facebook take legal action against those or do they force ebay somehow to delete appropriate offers? I'm however wondering that in other countries in Europe for example (except UK) there are quite a lot of resellers.

Would be great if somebody has some information about this as I'm just wondering why there are no more offers

Seems like Paypal has been taking more action on fan sellers as well. Probably tired of the complaints and over saturation.

    thanks for the replies

since when? The resellers on ebay.com all dissapeared over night. Before that it had been a very competitive business there. Normally ebay doesn't destroy whole business sectors like that as they destroy their own profit with that, so there must have been some major impact who forced them to delete the offers.

I'm not searching for any fan sellers I'm just wondering why a huge business sector disappeared over night and I'm moreover wondering if facebook now begins fighting the fan resellers, maybe also outside ebay

Its always been in their TOS...

    thanks again.

If this had been in their TOS for a longer time already they must have not put much attention on it so far as I was selling similar services there just some months ago and there was a lot of competition.

Also they wouldn't do something like this if they are not forced.
Seems as facebook somehow had good arumgents to get the offers removed.

I guess this might be the beginning of an offensive against fan resellers not only on ebay
