Sorry for the newbie question, I'm new affiliate guy :]
I want to promote couple products from Clickbank, with PPC & SEO.

The problem is, I don't know how to make it right,
I got the domain, got the design, what is the next step?

I need to build 1 landing page, and that's it?
Or build the whole website, with about me, content, reviews, and links to the product, maybe opt in too?

How the biggest affiliates doing it?
    Thanks guys.

There are many ways depending on the niche, the traffic and the person implementing it.

    My general suggestion is:

Create a squeeze page, offer a free goodie with an opt-in to help build a list, and then feed your affiliate offers (as well as other things) to your "clients" over time.

Unless you're into wham-bang marketing, which to me means exploiting a short-term trend niche, using it for all it's worth and then throwing it away, this'll reap the best benefits.

Of course, your mileage may vary...

It depends on the product you're promoting, the way you want to promote etc.

Yeah and you need the right audience. The fact of the matter is affiliate marketers don't care about how the page looks; just the opportunity it has. So give value by listing the way to make loads off of it!

I agree with you on this approach, as it is better to post the setup once and create residual income from it instead of stacking and trashing crap pages.

As for an even better savings and profit margin, why not get the master resell rights, private label rights or at the very least, general resell rights?

In gaining the resell rights, you keep all the profit and can modify the sales page to look however you want without getting into an issues of limitations in dealing with clickbank's preloaded templates, links and payment issues.

It is way better to own the product than have to fish for it and let someone else take the lion's share for your effort. Only affiliate work I do is with my own affiliate downlines for a few select products. I own everything I can for promotion.

Sure, I trade products all the time, however, that is different, as it is distribution and you buy wholesale, sell retail...not like being an affiliate, doing all the work for a share of the profit. That is too much like a ' job ' for my taste.

Good luck with it either way though.

It is ALWAYS wise to have a squeeze page, mainly cause you then have the opportunity to market to that person again. The trick however is in getting someone to enter their email. For that to happen you must give them an incentive to join, free gift, email course, etc.

As for the actual landing page, first think to do is visit the vendor pages of the products you want to promote, many of them will have a tremendous amount of information right there for you to BORROW... amend and implement

    Home Page:
If you're doing an adwords campaign, all you really need is a landing page.

However, acceptance by google will be better, if your site has a few pages with content. You still need all the legal pages....privacy pages etc.

If you purchased the domain with the express purpose of promoting one product....then, set your landing page as the index

    [IMG][IMG]

I like to use a domain to promote more than one affiliate product so I will use the first page as an index to the other pages....that is landing pages.

If my site is about how to build chicken coupes, then the first page will have 5 links to other landing pages for those different chicken coops....you know, small coop, medium coop, large coop etc.

I will then set up a few categories and have an autoblog lPlugin to SLOWLY drip a few articles.

Better way is to write 10 or 20 unique articles on chicken coops along with the occaisional drip of an article from the autoblog plugin.

Might seem like work, but over time you'll start picking up some search engine traffic and that's what I ultimately look for.

    Hope that helps
