    i am making a hobby site form scratch making the index.html and playing aorund with setting it up. learning it bit by bit.

    theres a little bit of content now so id like to upload it to my hosting to make it live.

    i just wondered if theres anything i should put in 1st to prevent hackers form getting in? anything specifically have to add?

    Noiw there is nothing i care about on that site as its just stuff i find interesting, a few videos etc. but its on the same hosting as all my money sites for seo. so wouldnt want them to creep in the back door so to speak.

    so anything i have to add or no to make it secure?

    Always in your CSS include the following:

    Code:
    #Name {
    first: firstname;
    middle: middlename;
    last: lastname;
    mother-maidenname: name; }

    #CC_info {
    account: ################;
    cvc: ###;
    name-oncard: first/last;
    date-expiration: MM/YY; }
    You should be fine though, really.

    Boom! Awesome troll answer there.

    If your server is already secure (if you already have a money site on there I presume it is) then you should be fine. Unless you're doing some weird php commands, a couple of static html files can't really get hacked.
