when/will the US ever become a 3rd world country?

Poland is called 3rd world country by Americans. It was called like that for last 100 years.
We have:
-free health care, including cancer healing with top specialists on the world, of course it have some trouble like every health care but in Europe all countries have it for free
-free education from primary school to university level
-here homeless are only addicted to alcohol, if you are not drinking you can rent a normal apartment or room very, very fast

I don't know why USA, so much richer have these problems

The USA would sooner start world war 3 before becoming a 3rd world country. If the USA were to ever become a 3rd world country, the rest of the world would probably not exist. Too many prideful "patriots" to let the country dip that low. Also consider that the world's largest tech companies are american companies. I don't see a scenario where they lose all the innovation and finances that come with them.

What does that help to average Joe? I really traveled a lot since online money can pay for my trips and I can tell you that, average people in USA vs Europe lives a shitty life! Average European doesn't need to take a loan to get medical care or send their kids to college. in general I think, even poor eu countries have better quality of life then majority of USA. Personally i would only change eu life for some middle east country like Arab Emirates, Qatar

and some asian countries are also dope like Japan or South Korea. And what I noticed people in the states are incredibly friendly and helpful! I was shocked if I am honest how welcomed i felt in USA, even in mega city's or country side. Europe also has fair share of problems obviously but not much as us

Don't get cancer unless you have 20 million dollars in US or you risk going bankrupt! if you are going to get cancer go to Austria first then get cancer then you will not go bankrupt. Now you might get lucky and your insurance will pay everything but there are tons where it doesn't. It's a nightmare here in America. Same with dental problems.

those are my 2 big complains about America.

those are my 2 big complains about America.

Here a dentist is also paid, but...
-2x tooth crown cost me $2000, with root canal treatment x2
-few veneers, $1500
-serious dental surgery $2000

Normaly root canal treatment cost $200

Overal I paid around $6000 for total restoration and healing

Because you don't spend anything on defence, just relying on the USA for protection just like other European countries do.

And btw 3rd world is a highly pejorative term to look down on us Asians.

If you are in the USA and you do a lot of online work, you have several times higher rates than the rest. Working online is becoming more and more popular. The best deals have always been from the USA. In fact, the rest of the world only imitates what they do. Some food for thought.

They are not and they won't be. Have you ever been to a real third-world country? With no access to clean water, no roads, no real laws, no law enforcement, pure corruption, no health standards, no education, etc.?

The problem with the US (and also the best thing ever for some of them) is it is pure capitalism. Capitalism is great if you are a smart, ambitious and an adjustable person. But it is hell for everyone who is lazy, got no money or education to begin with or who has any other disadvantages (like a handicap, bad environment, mental issues, etc.).

And hey, I know what I am talking about and I didn't grow up in the US. I was living with my mother and suddenly her boss couldn't pay salary anymore for several months and we got into financial trouble, couldn't pay the rent anymore and shit like this. Luckily, the land lord was a really nice guy, a CEO from a big company and he didn't really depend on the rent money and just said (no problem, just pay later then). even if you are the smartest and nicest guy ever, there are things which can fuck you up and you have no control over it. And once you are in this terrible cycle, it is very difficult to get out of there. i have been there and saw it. and things could have gone far worse.

The term third world is misused a lot. People have the wrong definition of third world. No point in getting into that.
US for sure won't be dominant by the time this decade ends.
Power is going to be shared by 4-5 countries and US won't be able to bully anyone anymore.
My prediction is US, China, India are going to be the top 3 in the next decade. And as unfortunate as it sounds, China is going to lead for decades to come.

The US is a big country, some places like LA and San Francisco are downright like third world countries. I’ve never seen that many homeless people in my life while I was in Brazil, and I’ve been to many fucked places in Rio de Janeiro and Sao paulo.

I’ve also visited Baltimore and saw some pretty surreal stuff. But if you travel 50km to another small city is like you’re in a different country.
