So I've been getting leads for one offer that pays around $4 for a free signup. I've been using Craigslist to get people (interested in my campaign, not necessarily the offer) that I then convert through email (I send them the affiliate link in an email). I'm blanking the referrer, not faking it which might be a mistake.

I've already got changes in line for my next campaign where I'll switch offers to stay under the radar and maybe fake the referrer to a landing page or something.

I'm just wondering how much money you have to make when the network will start looking more closely at your leads? $50? $100? $500? Also, if they do start "investigating" am I screwed or can I pull something out of it? Make up a BS excuse or something.

I know there's no exact answer for all networks, but more of a ballpark would be nice. Thanks :D

you dont have to make any specific amount, once the advisers send over the report and which are converting which are not, and they will black list you off that offer.

and so on and so on. and once the network relise your leads never convert they will ban you.

thats why you must mix wh leads with bh leads if you plan to have longevity if not, make the most till you get caught and move on.

Most networks do not allow CL marketing. I think this should be your major concern. Try and find out if your network allows it or not. Or, try to find a network that does allow it. There probably is one out there.

They'll look closer when the advertiser tells them to scrub you or ban you, because your leads are only costing the advertiser money (or barely converting). There's no set $ amount. Trust me, the networks want you to bring in big numbers, as long as the advertisers are fine with it ;)

How are you marketing on CL?

Giving them incentive or using the offer sign-up as part of your campaign?

IE: Hey sexy ill send you naked pics if you do this sign up?

    or

IE: If you want to join our great business just submit your information to this website and we'll contact your shortly!

Yea. Pretty much. If the advertisers are happy the CPA network is also happy because they are both getting paid. This also results in you getting paid and being happy. :)

It is as simple as that! Unless, your network actually is strict and has set rules, which is the case with some networks.

Most networks wont do anything until they are informed that the leads you provided did not convert well enough. They will then question your methods for bringing in leads. That is why its best to mix both BH and WH methods and leads to keep under the radar and not risk getting band.

The method you're using is fine, I guess. You aren't scamming the shit out of your leads are you..
Since your CL leads are interested in the offer, at least 1 in 10 should convert.

And apart from that, since you are sending the offer in an e-mail, I don't think you need to worry about blanking/faking the referrer. I may be wrong here, though. Hope some experienced guy could take this point up.

Depends on your ratios, if your making $100/per day with a 75% or bigger conversation ratio, it looks fishy, get like a 5-10% conversation ratio, or try to stick to the network wide EPC for each offer, so you look like a normal affiliate, making normal money on the offer.

I've been posting ads in CL for a little over the last month. My affiliate is Neverblue. I only first read their policies yesterday to find out they don't allow CL traffic. Hopefully this isn't something they actually enforce and I'll get paid eventually. My links go to my own hosted landing pages, so I don't think they'll see any CL servers from my leads, but maybe there's more to it than I realize? So far they haven't sent me any complaints or inquiries.

you can do 1 lead or 10000000 leads on CL all it takes is for one consumer to tell the advertiser for you to get caught and not be paid.

My advice is be upfront with whoever youre working with itll save everyone a lot of headaches in the end
