An interesting thought, I reckon: When you can put your headset on and actually go places and enjoy it more than what is physically around you.
I think it's coming. We of course have computer games, but I can see a time in the not too distant future when we would prefer to walk into a virtual pub - chat with real people, but not physically be in front of them.
We could go anywhere. We could walk into any pub, any cinema... and not move from our home. We could go to the other side of the world and chat to people. It won't matter.
Getting on a plane? No need. If you want a holiday, get your VR set on and go to the USA and talk to people in the USA.
