It varies for me..some deep links have 20% CTR as rank 2 but my main keyword although that hovers between rank 2-5 gets a sound beating by wikipedia :'(

where there's no wikipedia, the ctr% is better. and long tail keywords too help

The CTR in the SERP depends on:

    - Niche
    - Your Title & Description
    - How good (valuable) the other sites are

as well as other small factors...

I have seen anywhere from 30-55%. It all depends on title and description.

The numbers from 2-10 look pretty accurate to what I see in average. But for the first spot do I normally use 35-40% CTR.

All depends on your title and also sometime the domain (.com / .co.uk) , I wouldn't put to much emphasis on the description most of the time I think most people wouldn't bother reading it.

30% seems average in my opinion.
