hello friends,we all know pbn posts is powerful, but I think the power it is different when it on homepage compared to inner page,do you agree it?
and how big the difference? For example, all same quality domains and posts, one A pbn sticky on homepage for 2month,one B pbn in homepage for 7days then roll into inner page, how many B pbns will equal to 1 A pbn's impact on niche rank? Please share your opinion, thank you

I don't know because I just create my own pbns, and do 1 pbn per money site and keep it near the top of the homepage.
Quality vs quantity.
I would rather have 10 of my own pbns rather than 40 pbns that roll into inner pages

It depends on how many outbound links there are on the home page. If 100, then your link is dilluted by 100 + some damping factor that Google employs.

But some inner pages are more powerful than even the home page! Imagine the case where Google.com links to example.com/inner-page

That inner page is stronger than example.com home page....

So it depends. But assuming there are only links from the home page, then the above formula holds.

Who fed you this nonsense? "Damping factor"? What??

Ofcourse the inner pages will have less power but i have many a times seen better rankings surges when the posts roll off the homepage.

You're going to lose most of it. Same as buying a link for some 'authority site' where the link gets barried deep in the site and no one sees. But by that time you won't realize the gradual decrease in rankings, all you did was leave a great review on the service that in the end did nothing for you.

You're on the homepage where the home page has several incoming links. That homepage has a lot of 'power'. Once you get off the front page, and no one links to your article, it has almost no value.

I apologize. I did a little more research (thanks Grind).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PageRank

That's some old shit right there. That page goes back to 2004. There's actually some truism to this, but it's a bit outdated.

No need to apologize, I even thought I had a brain fart and went back to check if my memory was serving me right.

I recall back in the day trying to implement my own PageRank. Came out shitrank. But I recall the dang damping thing ;)

I don't know the difference between homepage links and inner page links. But if the links in either homepage or inner page are powerful when the link point to the site has more authority and has the good and spam free backlink status. I think this will help to enhance the power of the links but not sure.

It will have a fraction of the juice as that front page. Think about it. Your link is on the front page. The front page has a bunch of incoming links. Google sees this as an imiportant page. It sees this important page linking to your site. That must mean your site is important, it gets good juice. Well it goes off the front page. Now it's just tucked away within the site. No incoming links. Homepage doesn't even link to it. Google doesn't see it as very important anymore.
