Over the past week and a half I've tried everything beneficial that I could think of to increase the ranking of my website which is on the 14th result. Here are just a number of things I've tried:
1. Made 7 more web 2.0s and updated my older 15 web 2.0s with a new post each
2. Bought 1,000 contextual links and sent them to my web 2.0s, then bought 10,000 gsa links and sent them to the contextual links
3. On page SEO, added more pictures and increased the word count of my article to 1,000 words, page loading speed is fine, alt text for all images has my keyword, also added an about me and privacy policy to the site
4. Sent e-mails requesting backlinks from authority websites in my niche
5. Created social bookmarks to my web 2.0s
6. Bought 300 tier 1 .edu links to my site and 4,700 tier 2 links to the tier 1 links, this package came from fiverr
7. Received 1,000 Xrumer backlinks to one of my web 2.0s as a giveaway on bhw
From what I can think of the only reasonable thing that I haven't done is buy PBN links, which I would rather not do since they are expensive. I've ensured that my on page SEO is as on point as possible and I have bought thousands and thousands of links. This website was created late October so it's about 2 months old. And all of these efforts have been implemented over the course of a week and a half. Prior to this I haven't worked on the site for a whole month due to in real life problems.
When is a good time to quit on this if things clearly aren't working out? I was thinking I'd give it 2 months and then assess the results at that point. At this point I honestly don't know what else I could be doing without spending anymore money (I do not have a PBN and I do not wish to buy PBN links so please don't mention this).
